The Department of Assessment, Accountability, and Categorical Programs (AACP) serves as a link to the statewide network of Categorical Programs Directors and the California Department of Education for the 21districts in Ventura County.  AACP provides support to the districts on the Standardized Testing and Reporting program score report formats, the proper interpretation of the data and technical assistance during testing time. The local districts also receive ongoing support through timely notifications, state and federal updates, technical assistance and a monthly forum to address key issues related to No Child Left Behind (NCLB).
