Human Resources Director

Dr. Danne is currently Director of Human Resources for the Ventura County Office of Education. She is a graduate of UCLA and Pepperdine University, where she received her doctorate in Institutional Management. Dr. Danne has enjoyed a twenty-seven year career in Education as a secondary teacher, assistant principal, and principal of a California Distinguished High School. In 1995, she was appointed to the Governor's Advisory Panel for the Comprehensive Review of Teaching Credential Requirements (SB1422). She served on the Advisory Panel for two years and co-authored California's Future: Highly Qualified Teachers for All Students, a report that has inspired major reforms in the areas of teacher education, recruitment, induction, standards and certification. Dr. Danne is also a contributing author to the California Standards for the Teaching Profession. She is currently working with school districts on aligning evaluation documents to the Standards, implementing employee performance remediation plans, and avoiding sexual harassment in the workplace.

Fingerprinting/Live Scan - Now accepting Walk-Ins.
LIVE-SCAN APPLICANT PROCESSING INFROMATION
Due to heavy demand, we are now accepting walk-ins! We will be holding walk-ins Monday through Thursday starting at 12:30p.m. through 4:00p.m. In order to allow adequate processing time, applicants will be accepted up until 4:00p.m. only. Please call Valerie Geerdes, Applicant Processor Technician, at (805) 383-1914 before coming in to confirm updated office hours of service for walk-in fingerprinting.
Each applicant will need to bring with him/her at the time of fingerprinting the appropriate completed applicant submission form(s), valid picture ID, and fee in the form of cash (exact amount) or personal check made out to the Ventura County Office of Education (VCOE). We are located at 5189 Verdugo Way, Camarillo, CA 93012.
