Under the direction of the Associate Superintendent, Student Services the Director of Charter School Support shall provide administrative support in coordinating the monitoring and oversight of VCOE-authorized charter schools and in the review and analysis of charter school petitions; serve in an active leadership role coordinating efforts amongst the different branches within VCOE, serving as the Liaison between VCOE and Authorized Charter Schools, and coordinates professional development offerings for VCBE Authorized Charter Schools.
Working collaboratively and with administrative supervision, the Directorof Charter School Support provides administrative support; meets frequently and confers with the associate superintendents and other VCOE staff in an effort to better serve VCBE Authorized Charter Schools.
Dr. Morse also has the primary responsibility to coordinate the testing program within VCOE, Facilitates the CAHSEE, CST, CELDT, Physical Fitness and District Wide Assessments, and GED as necessary.
