On April 3, 2009, the Ventura County Office of Education Teacher Support Services in coordination with local universities, the Ventura County Human Services Agency and the Califorina Employment Development Department sponsored a conference to address the needs of teachers recently affected by layoffs. Presentations provided information regarding:

BTSA Completion Options
Unemployment benefits/COBRA
Teaching in Special Education
Teaching in Middle/High School
