Tools for Meeting the Social and Academic Needs of Your Students in After School Programs
Please save the following dates for Saturday After School Program Trainings in Camarillo. All trainings are scheduled from 9:00am- 2:00pm. Registration begins at 8:30am. Lunch is on your own.

October 10, 2009- Classroom Management: Consistent program wide strategies provide a safe environment and an atmosphere conducive to academic and social activities. This module will assist you in keeping all of your students positively involved.
November 7, 2009- Learning Strategies for English Language Learners: One out of four students in California is learning English as a second language. How many are in your program? This module will help you answer this question and provide the necessary support to these students.
December 12, 2009- Math Activities for After School
January 23, 2010- Power of Writing/ Formative Assessment:The ability to write well is a powerful tool. Your students will learn to love language and take great pride in the writing they produce.
