Elementary English Language Arts
Lorraine Brown is a VCOE Content Specialist in English/Language Arts and a SB 472 Reading Language Arts and SB472 English Learner Professional Development trainer. A Teacher on Leave from Ventura Unified School District, she has more than 29 years of teaching, classroom coaching, and providing professional development experience. Lorraine has taught university courses in Literacy for English Learners and Classroom Management in the Elementary Classroom, and is a trainer in Developmental Assets and Beginning Teacher Support and Assessment. She is a member of the VCOE Task Force for Response to Instruction and Intervention providing expertise on the behavioral side of the RtI2 pyramid.

- Supporting teachers to successfully implement adopted reading materials
