The Curriculum, Instruction and Continuous Improvement Department (CICI) oversees a variety of planning, assessment, accountability, reporting, and evaluation activities in the county. These assessments enable the county to evaluate student academic achievement within and across schools, grade levels, and student populations. Use of county assessment data at the district, school site and classroom levels helps staff to understand and use student achievement data to inform instructional planning and monitor student progress.
