Students with histories of emotional and/or behavior problems which have adversely affected their educational progress attend this school.  The program is jointly administered and staffed by Ventura County Office of Education and Ventura County Behavioral Health.  

Students in this school undertake a course of study in academics similar to their general education peers of the same age.  This program is designed to prepare students to return to less restrictive schools closer to their neighborhoods.  An intensive effort is made to help students acquire skills necessary to accomplish this goal.  In general, students remain in the program for 9 to 12 months.
