Overview
Educational Technology focuses on the effective use of technology in teaching and learning by providing professional development to teachers, administrators and other educational professionals, providing educational technology planning and program management support and assisting districts and schools apply for grants and funding that support their educational technology program goals.
Professional Development
Workshops, courses and training sessions cover a variety of technology-related topics that support the effective use of technology as teaching, learning and management tools to enhance student learning and the integration of educational technology in the classroom. Planning and Program Management
Information, guidance and technical support is provided to districts and schools to develop comprehensive educational technology plans that meet state guidelines and to meet program compliance requirements for various Ed Tech categorical programs, including Enhancing Education Through Technology (EETT) Formula and Competitive Grants, the California K-12 Educational Technology Voucher Program and the E-Rate Program. Grant and Funding Support
