2010-11 Interactive Whiteboard Training
Ventura County Office of Education has partnered with Promethean and SMART to provide training sessions for Ventura County users. During the 2010-11 school year, we will be offering monthly training session for beginner and intermediate/advanced IWB users.
Sessions will be held on the 3rd Wednesday (Beginner Level) and Thursday (Intermediate/Advanced Level) of each month, beginning in September. March sessions will be the 4th Wednesday/Thursday, May sessions will be the 2nd Wednesday/Thursday. Due to the various Spring Breaks, there will be no session in April. Sessions will begin promptly at 4pm and will run no later than 6pm.
Promethean Sessions will be held in the training lab at the Conference and Educational Services Center located at 5100 Adolfo Road, Camarillo 93012.
SMART Sessions will be held in the training lab at the Administrative Services Center located at 5189 Verdugo Way, Camarillo 93012.
As these are interactive training sessions in the computer labs, you will not need to bring a laptop, however, you are advised to bring a flash drive to save any lessons, flipcharts, notebooks or other work created during your session.
