EDUCATION SPECIALIST CLEAR CREDENTIAL PROGRAM
Bob Miyamoto, Director
The Ventura County Office of Education is pleased to offer a Commission on Teacher Credentialing accredited program of professional preparation leading to the Education Specialist Clear Credential. The two year job embedded program is offered as a partnership between the Ventura County Office of Education, Ventura County Special Education Local Plan Area, and consortium district leadership.
Beginning in Fall 2010, the program will provide services to teachers who have a current Preliminary Education Specialist Level 1 credential. Combining professional development coursework with Program Faculty, and completion of formative assessment documents during fieldwork with an experienced support provider, each candidate will be guided to successful demonstration of required program competencies.
