Laurie Lary is the Executive Director of Career Education at the Ventura County Office of Education. She earned her Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership from California Lutheran University and completed her undergraduate work at the University of California, Santa Barbara, where she graduated with Honors and earned her single subject teaching credential. She has served in Santa Paula Unified School District, Ojai Unified School District, and Pleasant Valley School District, as both teacher and administrator, and has extensive experience with program development in the high school setting. She has successfully developed multiple career pathways, worked with community college partners in support of high school and community college partnerships, and is excited to lead career education programs for Ventura County.
