An achievement analysis examines data from classroom observations; survey data from
teachers, students, and parents; interview data; and document analysis to provide schools
and districts with specific information for their action plan to improve their students’
academic achievement. Schools and districts required to revise their school plan and
LEA plans as part of their program improvement status, receive direction and monitoring
support from VCOE state-approved DAIT leads. At the completion of an achievement analysis, schools receive support to implement their action plans. Support is customized
to the needs of the school and is delivered by the directors and content specialists. Contact
