The Student Art Exhibition and Open House provides students and teachers an opportunity to display creative work from the classroom in a highly public place that honors their work as an effective path to learning and knowledge for all.

Art is a process that engenders creativity, emotional development, problem-solving skills, thinking skills, and pride in every child. Art communicates with families, fosters student growth and development, and is an effective tool for increasing self-esteem.

The Student Art Exhibition and Open House also provides VCOE employees, student parents and visitors with an opportunity to learn more about each of our schools in a beautiful environment and provides the means to be in touch with VCOE’s principal customers—students.
