Join Us in Supporting Ventura County Students!

We invite you to make a meaningful impact on students across Ventura County by volunteering as a team moderator for the Ventura County Battle of the Books. This trivia-style reading event brings together elementary and middle school students to celebrate reading and literacy. Please review the information below, and if you’re able to join us, simply click the Volunteer Registration button below.

As a team moderator, you will sit with an assigned team, record the answers students write on the whiteboard at their table, and enter their responses into a score form using a provided laptop. No specific experience or background is required, however it is best if volunteers feel comfortable using technology. All volunteers will receive training before the event to ensure they feel prepared and supported.
