		Test Exam Preparation

VCOE Teacher Support Services has provided test preparation classes since 1986. Each instructor, a fully credentialed teacher, has a minimum of three years’ classroom experience in the content that is being taught. Because VCOE Teacher Support Services is a public entity, the pricing reflects cost recovery – thereby offering educational practitioners and those in the community seeking to expand their career options, high-quality, informed instruction at affordable prices. Test Preparation is available through VCOE Certification Development Services for the following exams: CBEST (California Basic Educational Skills Test) CTEL (California Teacher of English Learners) CSET (California Subject Exam for Teachers) Multiple Subjects Single Subjects RICA (Reading Instruction Competence Assessment)

		CSET Test Dates

		CBEST & RICA Test Dates

June 11, 2011 August 6, 2011 October 1, 2011 December 3, 2011 February 4, 2012 April 14, 2012 June 9, 2012 The last paper-based test administration of the RICA Written Examination was held on June 11, 2011. Beginning in August 2011, the RICA Written Examination will be available for computer-based testing year-round by appointment.

		CTEL Test Dates

The last paper-based test administration of the CTEL Examination was held on June 11, 2011. Beginning in November 2011, the CTEL Examination will be offered as a computer-based test during four testing windows per program year.

Cash or check payments must be made on or before the first day of class. Online: Online test prep registration is available at http://workshops.vcoe.org, if you wish to pay for classes with a credit card. NO REFUNDS, unless VCOE cancels the class. You will receive a confirmation by email prior to the first day of class. Please, no "drop-ins." Note: Class dates and locations are subject to change.
