Hackathon by the Sea 2022

It's a wrap!
Thank you Hackers, for a great event!
We hope you had a fun experience. We are so glad that most of you were able to participate in the entire event over 2 weekends. We know that is tough.
The Event Evaluation Survey is still open if you'd like to complete it and provide your feedback. We do look at it when planning for the next time!
Thank you again. You all are AMAZING and we are so impressed with your projects, your ideas, your passion, and your commitment.
Hack-on!!!
Hackathon Winners:
Carpooler - Best Overall (Max L. - Westlake High School): Carpooler is an innovative iOS and Android app that solves the problem of finding people to carpool with amidst flexible work schedules. Carpools can be scheduled and updated on the fly to keep up with the unpredictability of the new type of hybrid in-office/at-home work created by COVID-19 which makes it difficult to coordinate ride-sharing.
Suizlyt - Best Implementation (Darmal T.- Newbury Park High School, Sahan W.- Newbury Park High School, Michael L.- Newbury Park High School, Alvin L.- Rancho Campana High School): Suizlyt is an engaging study tool that combines elements of traditional study tools and bullet-hell games. Studying just got a whole lot more fun! (and enraging.)
Team Knohow - Best Concept (Hershraj N.-The High School at Moorpark College, Alexander S.- The High School at Moorpark College, Luz T.- Rio Mesa High School, Sahil S.- Moorpark High School): PostIt is a web app that lets anyone write, share, and remix journals with others. It's a collective space to create, whether for taking notes, drawing art, or creating challenges for others to partake in. Users can remix other journals to add onto them, offering a new perspective on previous work. Discuss class notes with your study group, add a caption to a funny drawing, share a new solution to a difficult math problem— the creative possibilities are endless!
