PREREQUISITES

• Hold a California Preliminary Multiple Subject, Single Subject and/or Education Specialist Credential.

• Employed in a teaching assignment. Assignments less than one semester (e.g., day-to-day substitute teaching) are not eligible teaching assignments.  

• Completed Year 1 of a CTC-approved California Induction Program.
  • If you completed Year 1 with another induction program other than Ventura County, you must submit verification from the other induction program that confirms completion of Year 1. Email verification to academicadvise@vcoe.org. 

PROGRAM FEES

• 2019-20 Non-refundable Registration Fee: $175
  • If your district/school has agreed to pay the registration fee, a coupon code would be provided to you by your district/school. If you are responsible for payment, you will be charged at the time you register for the program.

• 2019-20 Program Costs: $2,500: The majority of Ventura County school districts cover program costs, as well as any costs associated with mentors. If your program costs are not covered, you will need to complete and submit a Self-Payers and Private Schools Induction Consortium Program Payment Form to academicadvise@vcoe.org.
