Ventura County Office of Education is now using an automated system for reporting absences and obtaining substitutes. It is called the Sub finder System. It allows you to report an absence in two different ways.

Option #1
You may call the toll free sub finder at (866) 242-1408. Using your employee number, you call this number, enter your employee number, then it will ask you to voice your first and last name. Once you complete this process you will be registered on the sub finder system. You can call at anytime, 24 hours a day, to report an absence.

Option #2
You may request a substitute online.  To request a substitute online click here.

You enter your name and your password to proceed. Your password is your employee number. You may access Web Connect 24 hours a day to request a substitute. You may also enter an upcoming absence up to 30 days in advance.
