The Educational Services Branch provides a broad array of training, support and resources for professional educators, staff and officials throughout the county. This branch is uniquely situated to link districts with State legal requirements and educational goals, identify emerging educational needs, and develop and disseminate sound and responsive educational practices and programs. Assessment, Accountability & Categorical Programs

This department provides NCLB and testing support to school districts through timely notifications, state and federal updates, and technical assistance. Research and Evaluation services also provide statistical and data analysis and program evaluations.

The Curriculum, Instruction and Continuous Improvement Department is recognized for its ability to develop successful partnerships with local school districts to provide leadership in the development, implementation, and evaluation of effective curriculum, instruction, and assessment programs.

Health and Early Childhood Programs/Hearing

The purpose of this office is to assist districts to prevent health problems, promote health literacy and support students' success at school through a comprehensive, collaborative health systems approach.

Leadership Support Services

This department provides important, relevant, research-based professional development for school and district administrators and school-based learning teams. This includes VIP, T4S and AB 430 Administrator training. County SARB meetings and the Continuation & Alternative Education Principals' Network are also coordinated through this department.
