Our goal is to encourage more schools to implement energy saving and water and waste reducing strategies to help increase environmental sustainability and to promote environmental literacy.  This will lead in an increase in participation in the CA Green Ribbon Schools Program (CA-GRS).

The Ventura County Office of Education developed a Technical Guide to help districts and schools successfully complete a CA-GRS application. This Techncial Guide is intended to be used by first time applicants to the CA-GRS process and for those who have submitted applications in the past but want to strengthen their application. Individuals applying for the first time to the CA-GRS application can follow the step-by-step instructions and information from the beginning to the end of the technical guide.
