Library Resources:

Our TK-12 professional development collection includes over 2,200 books and other media covering all aspects of teaching and staff development and may be checked out for up to 3 weeks by VCOE teachers and Ventura County educators or those who are enrolled in an educator preparation program. We also house a small collection of fiction and nonfiction books intended for model lessons for professional development and for VCOE teachers and staff. The state-adopted materials may not be checked out and must be viewed in-house.

Library Lending Policy: Educators must show current proof of residency in Ventura County (i.e., driver's license) and/or employment in Ventura County Schools to borrow materials from the library.

Note: Please contact Ashlee Nishiya at (805) 437-1340 or anishiya@vcoe.org to set up an appointment to visit the LRDC. Due to Librarian of Record services, staff is not always available on site.
