Ventura County Educators and Businesses to Build Ties at Upcoming Summit

cid:image008.jpg@01D449D9.21BE0860For the first time ever, Ventura County’s top educational institutions are joining forces with local business leaders to present the Ventura County Education Summit. The Summit will showcase career-related educational programs and explore new ways educators and businesses can work together to prepare students for careers in local industries. The Summit will feature presentations and panel discussions and provide opportunities for audience participation.

WHAT: Ventura County Education Summit

WHEN: Monday, November 26, 2018 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

WHERE: Ventura County Office of Education • 5100 Adolfo Road, Camarillo, CA 93012

The Summit will also mark the launch of the 2018 Education Report to the Community. For the first time, California Lutheran University, California State University Channel Islands, the Ventura Community College District and the Ventura County Office of Education have joined forces to create a publication that provides a full view of the state of education in our region. All Summit attendees will receive a copy of the Report and an electronic version will be posted after the event.
