Community Schools Initiative

Gateway Community School is proud to be part of the California Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP), a statewide initiative grounded in a whole child approach. Through this work, Gateway strengthens its ability to support students and families by aligning academic, wellness, and social-emotional supports in collaboration with community partners.

The Community Schools Initiative focuses on:

  • Integrated student supports that address academic, health, and wellness needs
  • Family and community engagement that is inclusive and culturally responsive
  • Collaborative leadership between educators, families, and community partners
  • Extended learning opportunities that go beyond the traditional school day

This initiative is guided by the evolving needs of our school community and aims to build on existing strengths while exploring new opportunities to help students thrive.
