The Ventura County MTSS/RtI2 model addresses the academic, social & emotional, and behavioral aspects of effective instruction and intervention. Developed by Curriculum and Instruction in conjunction with the Ventura County MTSS/RtI2 Task Force, our MTSS/RtI2 handbook provides the resources we have created to support your development of academic, social & emotional, and behavioral models at your school or site. In addition, we offer an MTSS/RtI2 Administrators Network and PD series thoughout the year to share current practices and celebrate successes throughout Ventura County. Open to all administrators, educators, classified staff, and parents are our semi-annual symposia, which feature nationally known guest speakers as well as local presenters from exemplar schools.

RtI2/MTSS Administrators Network

Comprising educators and administrators from all over Ventura County, the RtI2/MTSS Administrators Network serves as a countywide professional learning community focused on sharing resources and research, identifying and implementing best practices, finding solutions to common barriers, and celebrating the successes in Ventura County schools and districts that build local capacity to close the achievement gap. Topics for the bi-annual meetings are determined by annual survey data, evaluation data, elements of the multi-year plan, and informal input from participants.

If you would like to participate in the Network meetings, please obtain permission from your superintendent and then contact Dr. Jane Wagmeister.
