K-12 Strong Workforce Program (K-12 SWP)
- As the lead agency, the Career Education Center has been awarded $ 1.63 million for Round 8 Strong Workforce grant funding to enhance Career and Technical Education (CTE) opportunities for English Learners and Socio-Economically Disadvantaged students in the high-growth fields of Information and Communications Technologies, Healthcare, and Advanced Manufacturing.
- The goal of K12 SWP funds are to create, support, and/or expand high-quality CTE course sequences, programs, and pathways at the K–12 level that are aligned to community college regional workforce efforts occurring through the region.The South Central Coast Regional Demand Dashboard can be accessed here.
