$18M Grant for Career Pathways

  • Ventura County students will have increased opportunities to find rewarding careers thanks to a new grant from the state.
  • The $18.1 million grant was awarded to the Central Coast K-16 Regional Collaborative, of which VCOE is a member. The collaborative spans six counties and includes leaders from school districts, county offices, community colleges, and universities.
  • By working together at all levels of the education system, the collaborative will ensure that more students particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds can achieve their career goals and realize their dreams.
