VENTURA COUNTY TEACHER INDUCTION: YEAR 2

 

 

 WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW

PREREQUISITES
  • Hold a California Preliminary Multiple Subject, Single Subject and/or Education Specialist Credential.
  • Employed in a teaching assignment. Assignments less than one semester (e.g., day-to-day substitute teaching) are not eligible teaching assignments.  
  • Completed Year 1 of a CTC-approved California Induction Program.
    • If you completed Year 1 with another induction program other than Ventura County, you must submit verification from the other induction program that confirms completion of Year 1. Email verification to academicadvise@vcoe.org
PROGRAM FEES
  • 2018-19 Non-refundable Registration Fee: $175
    • If your district/school has agreed to pay the registration fee, a coupon code would be provided to you by your district/school. If you are responsible for payment, you will be charged at the time you register for the program.

ORIENTATION DATES

  • You must attend the Year 2 Orientation scheduled for AUGUST 28, 2018 from 4:30pm - 7:30pm at the Ventura COE Conference Center, 5100 Adolfo Rd., Camarillo, CA 93012.

HOW TO REGISTER

  • Register online on or before AUGUST 21, 2018 through GoSignMeUp (GSMU), a secure website. Refer to registration instructions below then click "Start Here".

  • IMPORTANT NOTE: You will need the following information to complete the registration form:
    • Social security number and date of birth (required to verify and evaluate your credential with the Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC). Our system is encrypted to secure your information.)
    • Name and email address of your school principal/head administrator
    • Credit/debit card for online payment of the non-refundable program registration fee or coupon code from your district if they are covering this fee.
    • If you are responsible for payment of program costs, you will need to complete a Self Payers & Private Schools Induction Consortium Program Payment Form and submit it to academicadvise@vcoe.org
