To apply to the Ventura County Designated Subjects Career Technical Ed and Adult Ed Programs (DSC CTE and DSC AE), you must meet the following pre-requisite requirements:
- Hold a California Preliminary Designated Subjects Credential in Adult Education, Career Technical Education, or Special Subjects.
- Employed in an assignment requiring the DSC credential. Please note that assignments less than one semester (e.g., day-to-day substitute teaching) are not eligible teaching assignments. Contact our office if you have any questions regarding the eligibility of your current assignment for the program.
The 2016-2017 application period is now closed. The 2017-2018 application period is scheduled to begin the week of August 1, 2017. To be notified once it opens, complete the Request for Program Enrollment Notification form.
