Test Preparation and VPSS Classes - Summer Offerings Available

Test preparation classes to assist individuals with passage of the CBEST, CSET, RICA and CTEL courses are now open for registration. For information and to register, go to our Teacher Exam Homepage. 

A summer offering of VPSS Math, to assist eligible teachers to become "highly qualified" to meet NCLB compliance,  is also open for registration. Register now as classes begin June 13! For information and to register, go to our VPSS Homepage.

Health Education for Teachers - Online Course

The course is self-paced and it meets the health education requirement for clear credentials.
(Please confirm with your credential program that this course will be accepted.)
Proof of Infant, Child, and Adult CPR certification is required.
Upon successfully completing the course, candidates may request one unit credit through California Lutheran University (EDUC 904F).

Ventura County Credential Programs - Application period now closed

Applications to the Ventura County General Education Induction Program (BTSA), Education Specialist Clear Credential Program (BTSA Special Ed), Designated Subjects Career Technical Education (CTE) and Adult Education Programs, Language and Academic Development (LAD) Credential Program, and the Added Authorizations in Autism and Orthopedic Impairment are now closed.

Support Providers

All individuals assigned to be Support Providers to candidates in a Ventura County Credential Program must complete an application and register for required trainings.
