VCOE Tobacco Use Prevention Education (TUPE) Tier 2 Consortium grant was awarded for the 2023-2026 grant term. These funds are intended for various activities and initiatives aimed at preventing and reducing tobacco and vaping use among youth. Typically these funds are used for implementation of evidence-informed curriculum, training and professional development, intervention and cessation programing, and family and community engagement. The following districts will receive TUPE funds for the three year grant term:

• Moorpark Unified School District
• Oak Park Unified School District
• Oxnard Union High School District
• Pleasant Valley School District
• Rio School District
• Santa Paula Unified School District
• VCOE Gateway, Providence & Special Education 
• Ventura Unified School District
